Why EasyLanguage?
EasyLanguage is a programing language exclusive to TradeStation. It is composed of words, operators, and punctuation that create indicators and trading strategies, based on rules and statements, using market data. EasyLanguage is designed with simple English-like terms that a trader might use to describe a trade idea to another trader; however, it is still a programming language. This means that there are certain rules and guidelines that must be followed to ensure that the studies we create can be understood and applied within TradeStation.
EasyLanguage is a compiled programming language, optimized for speed and power to handle many simultaneous open windows, processing hundreds of real-time symbols. It is a completely white-box environment; every study and function can be viewed, copied or modified.
